#Betadine solution (1 pt) [$2.70]. The solution may be used to cleanse wounds, preferably in a 1:100 dilution (about 3 drops per ounce of water). With dilution, the tissue toxicity is less, and the concentration of free iodine (the antimicrobial agent) is actually greater.
